It was my 18th birthday in 1999 when I did my first tattoo. It was on the owner of the tattoo shop where I had finished my year and a half apprenticeship. I started my apprenticeship at the age of 16 while finishing up high school. I quickly took a love to the trade while traveling extensively and working around many good artists who helped me get to where I am today. During my first years of tattooing I worked in Phoenix, Arizona at the Crawling Squid as well as Hold Fast Tattoo in Prescott. I moved on to San Diego where I spent many years in Pacific Beach working for Chronic Tattoo. Then I eventually made my way up coast to Slave to the Needle at the start of 2008: it was the best move I’ve ever made.

I spend most of my time with my girlfriend, son, and perfecting my art. I love to tattoo: My areas of expertise are traditional and Japanese influenced tattoos, though my range is very diverse. I believe that I can only get better with an open mind so I keep my focus and interests open. I plan to tattoo ‘til they pry the tattoo machine from my cold dead hands… Commitment like that is how you can trust in me as your artist. Thanks.
