In the past several years the availability of body jewelry has gone from reputable piercing studios to mall kiosks, clothing stores and even gas stations. It is important when selecting body jewelry that you choose jewelry that is of the highest quality and craftsmanship. When you purchase jewelry that is suspiciously inexpensive chances are you are getting anything but a bargain. There are no regulations on the manufacturing of body jewelry so there is an influx of cheap overseas jewelry made out of materials that are not suitable for wear in the human body. To make sure that you get the best possible quality in your body jewelry make sure that the studio or store you buy from adheres to the jewelry standards of the APP. Jewelry should be internally threaded, made of proper material and should be free of scratches and imperfections.

We at Slave to the Needle offer an extensive line of ONLY APP compliant jewelry. Please feel free to call or stop by with any questions.

  • Please bring in your jewelry several hours in advance so we have time to properly clean and sterilize it

ALL jewelry sales are FINAL. The only exception is if there is an obvious defect in the jewelry in which case we either have it repaired or replace it. If you do not know the proper size and gauge of your jewelry please ask one of our piercing staff for help to insure that you purchase the right piece.
